Grow Wild Trail Run
The Grow Wild Trail Run is an inaugural trail race held at the Northland Arboretum on August 22, 2026. The event takes place entirely on Arboretum property using the Arb’s trail system through forests, rolling terrain, and natural landscapes. Course map and elevation chart are available and may be subject to change.
Participants may choose from these distances:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 10K - 6.2 Miles
The Half Marathon consists of two loops of the course and the 10K consists of one shortened loop. Aid stations are planned at approximate mile markers and will include water and electrolytes. Professional chip timing and a gun start are provided by Pickle Events.
Packet pickup and related activities are scheduled as follows:
- Friday August 21 : Health and Wellness Expo plus packet pickup, Northland Arboretum Visitor Center, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Saturday August 22 : Day of packet pickup and on site registration, Northland Arboretum Visitor Center, 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
All registered participants receive an event T shirt and a finisher medal, with guaranteed T shirt requests honored through August 5, 2026. Registered racers receive free admission to the Arboretum for the weekend. Runner capacity is limited to 350 participants. Dogs are not allowed on the racecourse; dogs are welcome elsewhere at the Arboretum on leash.
The event is a fundraiser for the Northland Arboretum and supports trail maintenance, environmental education, recreation, conservation projects, and other Arboretum improvements. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
