Grey Bruce Animal Shelter Dog Jog : Harrison Park, Owen Sound
The Dog Jog raises awareness and funds for the dogs and cats cared for by the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter. The event is scheduled for October 3, 2026, at Harrison Park, 2nd Avenue East, Owen Sound, ON, Canada.
The shelter is independently run, cares for surrendered dogs and cats until they are placed in homes, and operates mainly with volunteers without government funding.
Participants may register as individuals or teams. Prizes are awarded to top fundraisers. Donations in support of any participant or team are accepted.
Dogs are welcome. The first 50 dogs registered will receive a Bark Bag of swag and treats donated by local pet stores. All dogs must be leashed during the event. The Dog Jog will proceed rain or shine.
Available routes:
- About 1 km on the Mile Drive Trail via a campground loop
- About 3.5 km on the Bruce Trail including the Jubilee Bridge and Freedom Trail
