Grey Bruce Animal Shelter Dog Jog 2026
The Grey Bruce Animal Shelter Dog Jog is a family and dog friendly run/walk held at Harrison Park in Owen Sound, Ontario. The event raises awareness and funds for the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter, an independently run shelter that cares for surrendered dogs and cats. The shelter is operated almost entirely by volunteers and receives no government funding.
Participants may enter as individuals or as teams. Prizes are awarded to top fundraisers and donations can be made in support of any participant or team. The first 50 registered dogs receive a Bark Bag of swag and treats donated by local pet stores. All dogs must be leashed during the event. The Dog Jog proceeds rain or shine.
Routes offered include:
- About 1 km - Mile Drive Trail, southbound with a loop through the campground
- About 3.5 km - Bruce Trail, north on the Fitness Trail, through the neighbourhood, across Jubilee Bridge
