Event Overview
The Norris Insurance Greentown 5K is a running event held at the Greentown 4-H Fairgrounds in Greentown, Indiana. It is part of a series of RRCA-sanctioned events.
Event Distances
Participants can choose from two events:
- A 5K run or walk.
- A Fun Run described as "not-quite-a-mile."
Registration and Fees
Advance registration for the 5K run/walk costs $8.00, with the fee increasing to $10.00 on the day of the race. The Fun Run has a separate entry fee of $1.00, which does not include a participant shirt.
Awards and Recognition
All participants in the 5K run/walk receive a commemorative T-shirt. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K run, as well as to the top three finishers in multiple age groups, which include categories for youth, adults, and seniors. Trophies are also awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K walk and to the top male and female finishers in the Fun Run.
