Green Monster Trail Challenge
The Green Monster Trail Challenge is a trail race near Wellsboro, PA, organized by the Tyoga Running Club and held in the Tioga State Forest north of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. The event offers multiple route lengths over single track and other mountain trails with sustained climbing, stream crossings, and technical descents.
Distances and climbing:
- 50K: 7800' total ascent
- 25K: 4000' total ascent
- 15K: 1700' total ascent
Aid stations are provided and staffed by local clubs and organizations. The event includes post-race food and beverages, race day shirts, Darn Tough socks for some participants, finisher medals, and entertainment. The organizer notes a no-refund policy. Race capacity is limited to 350 participants; a wait list is used if capacity is reached. There is no day-of registration.
