Run Past Cancer 5K and Fun Run
This community fundraising event is organized in partnership with the American Cancer Society and Tioga Running Club to raise money for cancer patients in Tioga County. Activities are centered at Patterson Trailhead in Mansfield. Registration forms for the events can be picked up at Wild Asaph Outfitters, 71 Main Street, Wellsboro.

Advance online registration closes Thu, Oct 29. Day-of registration is available. Entry fees listed for day-of include $15 for the 1 mile walk/run with a family maximum of $30, and $25 for the 5K run. All funds from the event go to the American Cancer Society to support local patients and cancer-related work in the county.
Participants will receive a small free ice cream from Wellsboro Creamery. Top finishers in the 5K will receive medals. A costume contest will award prizes in categories such as Best Dressed, Funniest, Scariest, Most Unusual, Cutest, Best Fictional Character, Best Group, and Coolest Celebrity.
