Run Past Cancer 5k and Fun Run
Run Past Cancer is a community fundraising event held in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania on October 31, 2026. The event is sponsored by the American Cancer Society together with the Tioga Running Club to raise money to support cancer patients in Tioga County. All proceeds are designated for local cancer relief efforts.
The event takes place at Patterson Trailhead, 32 Fellows Drive, on the new section of the Pine Creek Rail to Trail, in front of Wellsboro House and behind Pinnacle Towers. Two distances are offered:
- 5K run
- 1 mile walk/run

Fees published for the event include a $25 entry for the 5K, a $15 entry for the 1 mile walk/run, and a maximum immediate family fee of $30 for the 1 mile.
Community donations and donated prizes are part of the event. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes; prizes will be awarded in categories such as Best Dressed, Funniest, Scariest, Most Unusual, Cutest, Best Fictional Character, Best Group, and Coolest Celebrity.
