Green Lakes Endurance Runs are trail events held at Tulip Hill Picnic Area in Green Lakes State Park, Fayetteville, NY. The event features multiple fixed-distance races and a timed 12-hour event.
Distances include:
- 100K nearly eight-mile loops, total of eight laps
- 50K four laps of the same loop
- 25K two laps of the same loop
- GLER GALEFORCE 12 Hour Race clockwise 3-mile loop around Green and Round Lakes

The route includes two ascents and one long descent through upland forest with roots, ruts, and stones, plus about 3+ miles per loop across upper meadows called the Serengeti. The lower lake section is shaded and relatively flat. The timed 12-hour race uses a different, shorter loop confined to the lower lakes area.
Amenities and services include race shirts for entrants who registered at least 14 days prior, finisher medals and drinkware, podium recognition, age-group awards, two stocked aid stations and one unmanned water drop, marked course turns and confidence markers, a midway aid station on the far side of the Serengeti, space for crew gear near Race HQ, and a raffle with at least one ticket per registered entrant.
Administrative notes: no registration refunds after July 16, 2026, and awards and finisher items are distributed only on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
