Greatest 4th in the North 10K
The event takes place on July 4, 2026, in Lake City, Michigan, and offers multiple running distances around Lake Missaukee and downtown Lake City. All proceeds are directed to Lake City Boosters to support local Lake City Trojan students and athletes.

The 5K and 10K courses are described as fast and flat and run along Lake Missaukee and through downtown Lake City. The 2K Fun Run goes through Missaukee County Park and along the beach boardwalk and is intended for participants of all ages.
Registration opens on February 24, 2026, and closes on June 14, 2026. Registration fees listed are $10 for the 2K, $35 for the 5K, and $40 for the 10K. Due to major downtown construction the race route has been altered from previous years and registration and packet pickup will take place north of Forest Area Federal Credit Union at 101 Main Street, Lake City, MI 49651 rather than at the usual city park area.
