Love Your Neighbor 5K Run/Walk
The Love Your Neighbor 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for May 9, 2026 in Lake City, Michigan. The event is organized by Community Hope and raises funds for the organization’s mentoring and food programs, which serve more than 200 children and youth from Pre-K through 12th grade each week. The event offers both a 5K run and a 5K walk.
The course is paved and includes hills and curves around the Timber Wolf Lake campus. Dogs are not allowed on Timber Wolf Lake property. The event is open to all ages.
Entry fees vary by age and registration date. Children 5 and under enter free with no t-shirt. Ages 6 to 9 have a reduced fee. Participants 10 and older have tiered fees with a registration deadline that guarantees a t-shirt for those registered by April 30. Registration scholarships are available for students by request to Community Hope.
All participants receive a finisher medal. Additional awards include plaques for the top three female and top three male finishers in the 5K walk, gift cards for the top three female and male finishers in the 5K run, and age-group plaques for the top three female and male finishers in each run age group.
