Lake City Memorial Day 5k and 1 Mile Road Race
The Lake City Memorial Day 5k and 1 Mile Road Race takes place on Monday, May 25, 2026 in Lake City, Michigan. The event is centered at 210 S Canal St, Lake City, MI 49651.

The event is hosted by the Lake City High School and Middle School cross country teams and is timed by Rotpac Racing. All participants receive a finisher medal. Additional awards include a winner's medal for the first female and male finishers in the mile race and gift cards for the first female and male finishers in the 5k race. The top three female and the top three male finishers in each age division for the 5k will receive age-group medals. Age groups for the 5k are 13 years and under; 14 - 19 years; 20 - 29 years; 30 - 39 years; 40 - 49 years; 50 - 59 years; 60 - 69 years; and 70 years and up.
All proceeds support the Lake City High School and Middle School cross country program. Runners who register before Monday, May 11 receive an event t-shirt; extra t-shirts may be available for purchase for registrants after May 11 and for non-participants.
