Lake City Memorial Day 5k & 1 Mile Road Race : Lake City, MI
The event takes place on Monday, May 25, 2026 in Lake City, Michigan, at 210 S Canal St. It includes two road races and is organized by the Lake City Memorial Day 5k & 1 Mile Road Race; the High School and Middle School cross country teams host the event and timing is provided by Rotpac Racing.
- 5k - entry fee $30
- 1 Mile - entry fee $15
All participants receive a finisher medal. Additional awards include winner's medals for the first female and male in the mile, gift cards for the first female and male in the 5k (to the Fleet Feet running store in Traverse City and other locations), and age-group medals for the top three female and top three male finishers in each age group. Age groups for the 5k are: 13 years and under, 14–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 years and up.
All proceeds benefit the Lake City High School and Middle School cross country program. Runners who register before Monday, May 11 receive an event t-shirt; extra t-shirts may be available for purchase for later registrants and non-participants.
