Greater Gardner Turkey Trot
The Greater Gardner Turkey Trot is a point-to-point road race held on Thanksgiving in 2026. The event starts at Gardner City Hall and finishes in front of the American Legion in Baldwinville, Massachusetts.
The principal distance:
- 5 Mile point-to-point course following Route 68 from Gardner to Baldwinville
The course passes local landmarks and roads including Parker Pizza, Parker Street, West Street (Route 68), State Road, St. Martins Church, Central Street, Lee’s Hot Dog stand, the Thirsty Turtle and Pizza Barn, and finishes on Central Street in Baldwinville.
Proceeds benefit local cross country and track programs, including Gardner High and middle school teams and Narragansett cross country teams. The GHS Cross Country Track Booster Club is the charity associated with the event.
Registration is open with early-bird, regular, and same-day nonrefundable donation rates. Early bib pick-up is offered the day before the race and race-day packet pick-up is available. A complimentary Table Talk Pie is provided at packet pick-up while supplies last.
Transportation between the start and finish is provided by bus service. Chip timing is used and results are posted online. Awards include overall and age-group prizes, team awards (Class A and Class B), special recognition for the oldest finisher, and record-breaker trophies and cash.
