Course and race details
The marathon uses a flat, 2-mile loop. Runners start 0.2 mile ahead of the finish line and complete 13 laps to cover the marathon distance. The course is described as flat, wide, and fully closed. Checkpoints record each mile for accurate splits and an RFID timing system is used. There is one water stop serving water and Gatorade, plus water stops every 2 miles and numbered personal hydration table locations. Porta potties are available at the start/finish. Participants must keep track of their own laps; timing staff can be asked for lap information.
There is on-site parking, packet pickup at Marathon Sports Mansfield the day before, on-site packet pickup the morning of the event, post-race refreshments in the registration area, and lost and found held for 48 hours.
