Great Woods Marathon
The event is a marathon and a 2 mile test run held at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA. The marathon covers 26.2 miles by running 13 laps of a 2 mile loop; the lap starts 0.2 miles ahead of the finish line. The test run is a single 2 mile lap of the same loop.
The course is flat and operates as a closed loop. Bathrooms and water are available every two miles. There are timing locations at each mile marker to provide split reporting. The venue offers on site parking, accessible restrooms, and space for friends and family to view the course. Personal hydration tables and water stops are part of the support along the route.
