Great White North Multisport Festival running events
The Great White North Multisport Festival includes a set of running-only races held as part of the festival program. Distances offered are listed below.
- 42.2 km marathon, inaugural event in 2027, four laps.
- 21.1 km half marathon, two laps, turnaround at 5.275 km.
- 10 km out-and-back to the Olympic/10K turnaround point.
- 5 km trail run with a 2.5 km turnaround.
The organizers note that they are pursuing course certification to Boston Qualification standards, with certification expected in Spring 2027 and the race date set for July 4, 2027. The marathon is new for 2027 and will be run as four laps to total 42.2 km.
