The Great Weston 5
The Great Weston 5 is a 5-mile race. The course is multi-terrain, run over the Northamptonshire countryside starting and finishing in Weston Village.
The event is held under UKA rules. All participants who register in advance receive a medal and a goody bag. The entry fee is £13 for UKA-affiliated runners and £15 for non-affiliated runners, plus processing fees. Entry on the day costs an extra £5 but is not guaranteed due to limited capacity.
The event has a maximum capacity of 149 runners. Participants must be at least 15 years old, and those under 18 must be supervised by an adult. Dogs are not allowed, and the use of any type of earphones is prohibited unless for a medical reason (requiring advance contact). The race has a 90-minute cutoff time.
The first male and female finishers receive trophies. All competitors receive free entry to the accompanying May Day fair. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
