The Great Trailhead Foot Race
The Great Trailhead Foot Race takes place at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado. This event features a course composed of single-track trails and dirt paths located near the Denver skyline. Participants can choose between two primary distances that utilize the park's trail system:
- 5 Miles
- 10 Miles (completed as a double lap of the 5-mile course)
Registration fees cover the cost of entry into the park for the entire day. The event includes a post-run gathering where a variety of food and beverages are provided. Participants receive a finisher's meal consisting of hot dogs, chips, protein bars, and bananas. Non-alcoholic beer is available for all, while participants aged 21 and over with a valid ID can access provided beer.
