The Great Trailhead Foot Race 5 & 10 Miler
The event takes place at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado, with the race start and finish located at the Pelican Point picnic shelter. The park address is 15600 W Morrison Rd, Lakewood, CO 80228; that address points to the park visitor center, which is not the race location.
The course uses established trails with single-track and dirt surfaces. Runners can complete a single loop or a double lap for the longer distance. The event is listed as an official qualifier for BolderBoulder.

Entry fees include park admission for the day, a post-run party, and one finisher meal. Registered participants receive a gender-specific t-shirt. Race-day refreshments listed for participants include hot dogs, chips, protein bars, non-alcoholic beer, bananas, and other items. Alcoholic beer is available free for participants aged 21 and over with a valid ID. Ten mile finishers receive a finisher mug upon completion.
