The Great Trailhead Foot Race 5 & 10 Miler
The event is a trail running race held at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado, with single-track and dirt trails near the Denver skyline. Runners may choose a single 5 mile course or complete a double lap for the 10 mile distance.

Registration includes park admission for the day and access to a post-run party. The event provides food items such as hot dogs, chips, protein bars, non-alcoholic beer, and bananas. Participants aged 21 and over may receive free beer with a valid ID. Each participant receives a gender-specific t-shirt, and 10 mile finishers receive a finisher mug upon completion.

The event partners with a shoe donation program that supports the event’s charity partner Growing Home; donated athletic shoes generate a donation to that charity.
