Great Pumpkin Race - Zelienople
The 16th Annual St. Gregory Great Pumpkin Race is a community fall event held at St. Gregory School in Zelienople, PA on October 25, 2026. The event offers two course options and a post-race outdoor gathering with food, prizes, and activities. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Proceeds benefit the St. Gregory School Parent-Teacher Organization and Athletic Programs.
The course uses chip timing by Miles of Smiles and includes a mix of flat areas and small rolling hills. Parking is available on-site in the upper church lot or on surrounding streets. A t-shirt with the GPR Runnin' Pumpkin logo is guaranteed for participants who register by the end of October 18, and a new finisher medal will be awarded.
Registration fees vary by date: for the 5K the fee is $25 until October 19, $30 until October 24, and $35 for same day registration; for the 1 mile the fee is $20 until October 19, $25 until October 24, and $30 for same day registration. Awards are given for top finishers overall and by age group for both events. Race packets can be picked up on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
