Great Miami Riverway Half

The Great Miami Riverway Half is a half marathon in Miami County, held on September 13, 2026 and presented by Can’t Stop Running Company. The point-to-point course starts on Water Street at the Miami County Courthouse in Troy, follows roads around Duke Park, uses the bike path north on Adams Street, crosses the Eldean Covered Bridge, and exits the bike path in Piqua to finish near Crooked Handle Brewery.

Finishers receive a commemorative medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. A special multi-year award is provided for long-term participants.

Packet pickup is available the day before at Can’t Stop Running Company in Piqua and on race morning in downtown Troy. A shirt choice of long sleeve or short sleeve tech shirts is offered while inventory lasts. Parking options include Hobart Arena and Troy City Park, and a courtesy shuttle runs from the finish area back toward downtown Troy on a rolling schedule. The course uses the bike path where possible and includes marked road crossings; volunteers and law enforcement will assist at crossings. There are five water and nutrition stops and multiple restroom locations along the route. An early start option is available for walkers and those expected to take longer to finish.
