Great Langdale 21 is a trail race held on 6 June 2026 in Great and Little Langdale, based at the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel. Course and race features
The route is fully marked and uses trails and footpaths through the Langdale valley. The course passes or uses: Old Dungeon Ghyll pub, Mickleden, Great Langdale Beck, Stool End Farm, Oxendale Beck, Red Tarn, Pike O'Blisco, the 3 Shires Stone, Wrynose Pass (short road section), Fell Foot Bridge, Little Langdale Tarn, quarry, Baysbrown Farm/Campsite and The Cumbria Way before returning to the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel. On-course support includes a manned checkpoint. Finishers receive a recycled paper mache wild flower seed bomb medal. Other listed provisions include vegan salty soup and evening music.
