Course and logistics
Both races start and finish at Eastern Elementary School, 1600 Eastern Ave. The 5k is described as a flat course that passes an aid station near mile one and runs along the shore of East Bay before returning to the elementary school. The kids race is an out-and-back on the sidewalk along Eastern Ave, beginning and ending at Eastern Elementary.
Packet pick-up is offered the day before the race and on race morning near the start line. Free parking is available at Traverse City Central High School, 1150 Milliken Dr, with a short walk past the tennis courts to Eastern Elementary. A limited number of event T-shirts are available by size. Awards will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to multiple age groups, with a post-race awards ceremony and vendor booths offering snacks and drinks.
