AEPG Great Eastern Run
The AEPG Great Eastern Run takes place in Peterborough City Centre on 10 October 2027 with the start and finish at the Embankment. The event includes road races around the city on a predominantly flat, measured course (Course Measurement Reference 26-447).

Chip timing operates for both the Half Marathon and the 5K. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and to category winners in the Half Marathon.
The course uses fully closed roads. Runners must follow signage and marshal instructions and keep to the left unless told otherwise. Medical teams and marshals are present on site to assist anyone who feels unwell.
There are five water stations on the Half Marathon route; cups of water will be provided at each station and a bottle of water will be given with the finish goody bag. Bottles are available for 5K finishers only. Runners must write their name, medical conditions, and an emergency contact on the reverse of their race number where requested.
In ear headphones are banned; only bone conducting headphones are allowed provided marshal instructions remain audible. Appropriate road footwear is required. The Half Marathon has a 3 hour 30 minute cutoff and the 5K a 1 hour cutoff.
Entries are non refundable. Transfers are permitted until 26 September 2027 under the event terms and conditions. Ample parking is available around Peterborough City Centre.
