AEPG Great Eastern Run
Organised by Good Running Events on 11 October 2026, the AEPG Great Eastern Run takes place at the Embankment in Peterborough and includes road races around Peterborough City Centre.

The main race start and finish are at the Embankment and the route runs around the city centre and surrounding area. The course uses fully closed roads and is based on public roads outside the Embankment start and finish. Course measurement reference 24-464 is provided.
Chip timing will be used for both the Half Marathon and the 5K. A bespoke medal will be available to all finishers. The Half Marathon has an age limit of 17 and over. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and to category winners for the Half Marathon; the 5K awards trophies to the top three male and female finishers.
There are five water stations on the Half Marathon course; cups will be provided at each station and a bottle of water is given at the finish with the goody bag. Bottled water for 5K runners is available at the finish only. Medical teams and marshals will be onsite; participants must follow signage and marshal instructions and keep to the left unless directed otherwise. In ear headphones are banned; bone conducting headphones are permitted if marshal instructions remain audible. Appropriate footwear is required.
Entries are non-refundable; transfers are allowed until 27 September 2026. The Half Marathon cutoff is 3 hours 30 minutes and the 5K cutoff is 1 hour. The Event Village will be open on race day. Ample parking is available around Peterborough City Centre. Organisers accept no responsibility for vehicles or baggage. Photos and video will be taken on the day.
