AEPG Great Eastern Run : Peterborough, 11 October 2026
The AEPG Great Eastern Run takes place in Peterborough City Centre on 11 October 2026 and is organised by Good Running Events. The event includes a Half Marathon and the Anna's Hope 5K Fun Run, both using a mostly road-based route that starts and finishes at the Embankment and runs around the city centre. The course is described as flat and fast and uses fully closed roads.
Event services include chip timing for both distances, a bespoke medal for finishers, trophies for top three male and female finishers and category winners for the Half Marathon, and medical teams and marshals positioned on course. The Half Marathon has five water stations with cups provided, plus a bottle of water at the finish with the goody bag; 5K runners receive bottled water at the finish only. Marshalling and signage are in place and runners are asked to keep to the left unless instructed otherwise.
Race rules and logistics note an age limit of 17 and over for the Half Marathon, a cutoff time of 3 hours 30 minutes for the Half Marathon and 1 hour for the 5K, a ban on in ear headphones with bone conducting devices permitted, and that refunds are not available though transfers are allowed until 27 September 2026.
