AdventHealth Great Clermont Triathlon
The AdventHealth Great Clermont Triathlon is a multisport event held at Clermont Waterfront Park. It serves as a season opener in Florida and offers a variety of race formats and distances.
The International (Olympic) distance events include:
- International Triathlon: 1.5K swim, 40K bike, and 10K run
- International Duathlon
- International Aquabike
- International Relay
The Sprint distance category includes:
- Sprint Triathlon
- Sprint Duathlon
- Aquathlon
- Sprint Relay
Participants can also choose standalone events, including a 1.5K open water swim or a 5K run/walk.
The swim takes place in Lake Minneola on a triangular, counter-clockwise course. The bike course travels around Lake Minneola and heads out toward Cherry Lake before returning to the park. The run course is held on the South Lake Trail as an out and back loop.
Amenities provided to participants include a finisher medal, an event shirt, and access to a post-race food tent. Awards are presented to top finishers in various categories, including overall winners, masters, and age divisions for both individual and relay team participants.
