AJ Bell Great Bristol Run 2026
The AJ Bell Great Bristol Run takes place on 10 May 2026 and features two distances. The event offers both a 10k and a Half Marathon.

Both races start on Rupert Street and finish on Anchor Road. For 2026 the courses will be run in the reverse direction compared with recent years, while keeping the same key sights. The route is described as relatively flat and passes Bristol rivers, green spaces, urban landmarks and many graffiti murals.
Entries for the 2026 event are sold out, with a limited number of charity places remaining and a priority access list in place for 2027. Finishers receive a medal, an exclusive finishers t-shirt and a finisher’s bag. Official event day photos and results are available through the event app shortly after crossing the finish line.
Practical arrangements include baggage buses located near the start and a race number that normally arrives about four weeks before the event. Waves are allocated by estimated time; runners may join a slower wave by assembling with that later wave.
