2026 Great American Weekend 5k/10k Goshen Rotary Run
The event takes place in Goshen, NY on July 4, 2026, and includes two measured races. Both courses are USATF certified and begin at the Orange County Government Center, 255 Main Street.
- 5k - starts at Orange County Government Center
- 10k - starts at Orange County Government Center
The 5k course follows a right-side start on Main Street, then turns left onto Erie Street, right onto Orange Avenue, right onto Parkway, left onto Old Chester Road, reaches a turnaround at Duck Farm Road, and returns to finish on Park Place.
The 10k course begins on the left side of Main Street, continues via Erie Street, Orange Avenue, Parkway, Arthur Place, McBride Place, returns to Orange Avenue and Main Street, then follows Craigville Road to Knoell Road. Knoell Road eventually becomes Old Chester Road and the course continues into the village, finishing on Park Place.
The race is hosted by the Goshen Rotary Club, a member of Rotary International; the Rotary motto is "Service above Self." Proceeds support the club's community work. Parking is available in the Orange County Government Center parking lot - enter from Scotchtown Ave.
Registration opens June 1, 2026 and closes on July 4, 2026. Entry fees listed are $35 for the 5k and $40 for the 10k. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
