Great Allegheny Ohiopyle Race Festival in Ohiopyle, PA
The Great Allegheny Ohiopyle Race Festival takes place on May 2, 2026 at 7 Sheridan Street, Ohiopyle, PA 15470. The event presents multiple distance options and uses a shared start and finish location on a trail course that heads north from the race site.
The festival includes these events:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Combo 5K and 10K
Course and support details: the full marathon is two loops of the half marathon course and is a certified Boston Marathon qualifier with certification number PA22009NP. The route is 100 percent hard packed trail surfaced with crushed limestone and is described as relatively smooth. Aid stations with water and Gatorade are provided at roughly two mile intervals.
Participant amenities and awards: entry fees include a race t-shirt, finisher medal, ankle running socks and post-race food. First time finishers of the half, full and combo events receive a commemorative plaque in addition to a finisher medal. Personalized bibs are available if registered about three weeks in advance. Results are available live by text and email and finish line photos are provided free. A 10 percent discount on entry is offered to service members and their families.
