Course and logistics
The marathon is a certified Boston Marathon qualifier (certificate PA22009NP); the full marathon is two loops of the half marathon course. Distances use out-and-back segments: the half goes out 6.55 miles, the 10K goes out 3.1 miles, and the 5K goes out 1.55 miles before returning to the finish. The course surface is 100% hard-packed trail with crushed limestone and is described as generally smooth. Aid stations with water and Gatorade are placed about every two miles. The event offers personalized bibs if registered sufficiently in advance and provides live/text/email results plus free finish-line photos.
Awards and timing
Top overall and age-group awards are offered for male, female and non-binary categories. There is a 4-hour time limit for the half marathon, 10K and 5K. A single early-start option is available for half and full entrants one hour before the main start; early starters are not eligible for awards and are asked to target about a 15-minute mile pace or slower.
