Entry fees include a t-shirt, finisher medal and a free pair of ankle running socks. All first-time marathon and half marathon finishers receive a plaque. The event offers a 10% discount on race entry for service members and their family.
Course, awards and services
All races start and finish at the same location and run north on the trail. The marathon is two loops of the half marathon and is a certified Boston Marathon qualifier (certification number PA22009NP). The 5K is an out-and-back of 1.55 miles each way, the 10K is an out-and-back of 3.1 miles each way, and the half marathon is an out-and-back of 6.55 miles each way. Aid stations with water and Gatorade are provided about every two miles. The surface is 100% hard-packed crushed limestone; regular racing shoes are indicated as suitable.
Awards are offered by gender categories M/F/X: top overall and top age-group finishers (age groups from 15 & under up to 80+). Services include live/text/email results, free finish-line photos, and personalized bibs for runners registered at least three weeks in advance.
