The Great Allegheny Ohiopyle Race Festival is held in Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania at 7 Sheridan Street on May 2, 2026. Course, timing and awards
All races start and finish at the same location and head north on the trail. The full marathon is a certified Boston Marathon qualifier (certification number PA22009NP) and is two loops of the half marathon course. The course surface is crushed limestone hard-packed trail. Aid stations with water and Gatorade are placed about every two miles.
Distance specifics: the 5K runs out 1.55 miles and returns; the 10K runs out 3.1 miles and returns; the half runs out 6.55 miles and returns. There is a stated time limit of four hours for the half marathon, 10K and 5K. Marathon and half participants have an optional early start; no early starts are offered for the 5K or 10K and early starters are not eligible for awards. First-time marathon and half finishers receive a commemorative plaque. Awards include overall and age-group categories with a non-binary division.
