Grayslake Family 5K Race & Fun Run - 35th Annual
The Grayslake Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the 35th annual Family 5K Race and Kids Fun Run on July 11, 2026, in downtown Grayslake, Illinois. The event center is at Center Street and Seymour Avenue and proceeds support student scholarships at local high schools.
Race features include professional chip timing for 5K finishers, race shirts for the first 300 pre-registered participants, post-race refreshments, and a themed photo booth. A visiting U.S. Olympian will be available for photos and autographs. The Kids Fun Run is for ages 5 to 8 and includes a shirt, participation ribbon, and refreshments; the first 30 kids to register receive a coupon for a small cone from a local vendor.

Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers in male, female, and wheelchair divisions, and to the top three male and female finishers in standard age-group divisions from 9 & under through 80 & over.
Packet pickup and in-person registration are available at the Grayslake Area Chamber of Commerce office and at Fleet Feet Libertyville on dates just prior to the event.
