Grapes of Wrath Triathlon, 5k & 10k
The Grapes of Wrath Triathlon, 5k & 10k takes place on April 26, 2026 at Lake Woollomes near Delano, California. The event offers multiple multisport and run options including sprint and Olympic triathlons, relays, duathlons, aquathlons, aquabikes, and virtual events. The venue is a 300 acre reservoir with about four miles of shoreline that allows swimming and non powered boats such as sailboats, SUPs, and kayaks.
The multisport courses combine a lake swim, a flat road bike course, and a run that includes trail and paved sections. Registered athletes receive event items and services including a custom t shirt, athlete goody bag, swim cap, finisher medal, post race meal, free race photos, and eligibility for raffle prizes and awards three deep in each division. A USAT membership is required for triathlon entries but not for the 5k and 10k; membership can be purchased during registration.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Lake Woollomes near transition and on race day at the same location. Bibs are dynamically assigned and multisport participants must present ID and USAT card at pickup per USAT rules.

- Run only: 5K and 10K run walk
