Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles

The Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles event takes place on Sunday March 8th 2026 along the Granite Way footpath and cycleway in Devon. The route offers views of Dartmoor and surrounding countryside. Race headquarters and the route start are at Granite Way Cafe, Klondyke Road, Okehampton EX20 1EW.

The event offers two distances:

  • 10 miles one lap
  • 20 miles two laps

The race is presented as a way to test training progress for runners preparing for a spring Marathon or Half Marathon. All finishers receive a Granite Way medal. Participants must be at least 17 years old on the day of the event.

Course support typically includes water stations and medical assistance. Finish area facilities commonly include toilets, a water station, a recovery area, a medical station, and a bag store. Race results are shared after the event via Webscorer and email. England Athletics members benefit from discounted entry to licensed events organised by the host.

Entry can be taken as a charity place with minimum fundraising pledges or as a standard booked place. Charity fundraising minimums stated are £100 for the 10 mile option and £200 for the 20 mile option.
