Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles
The Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles is a road and off road running event that follows the Granite Way footpath and cycleway through Devon, offering views of Dartmoor and the surrounding countryside. The event is scheduled for Sunday 14 March 2027, with race headquarters at Granite Way Cafe, Klondyke Road, Okehampton EX20 1EW, where the route begins.
Participants can choose between the following distances:
- 10 mile one lap
- 20 mile two laps
The event is presented as a training opportunity for runners preparing for a spring Marathon or Half Marathon and as a way to assess training progress on a long distance course. Runners must be at least 17 years old on the day of the event. All finishers receive a Granite Way medal.
Course support and finish facilities include water stations, medical assistance, toilets, a recovery area and a bag store. Results are shared after the race via email and on Webscorer. England Athletics members receive discounted entry for UKA licensed events. Charity places are available with minimum fundraising pledges of £100 for the 10 mile and £200 for the 20 mile, excluding gift aid. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
