Event overview
The Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles is a road-and-trail running event on Sunday 8 March 2026. The route follows the Granite Way footpath and cycleway through Devon and offers views of Dartmoor and the surrounding countryside. Race headquarters and the start are at Granite Way Cafe, Klondyke Road, Okehampton, EX20 1EW. Runners must be at least 17 years old on the day. All finishers receive a finisher medal.
Distances and course
- 10 miles - one lap of the route.
- 20 miles - two laps of the route.
Route maps, race instructions and a certificate of course accuracy are provided by the organiser.
Support, facilities and results
Support on the course includes water stations and medical assistance. Facilities at the finish commonly include toilets, a water station, a recovery area, a medical station and a bag store. Race results are shared by email and via Webscorer after the event.
Entry and fundraising
Entry can be by booking an individual place or by securing a charity place through the organiser. Charity places have minimum fundraising pledges of £100 for the 10 mile and £200 for the 20 mile (excluding gift aid). England Athletics members receive a discounted entry rate for UKA licensed events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
