Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles

The Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles is a running event organised by Exeter City Community Trust along the Granite Way footpath and cycleway in Devon. The route passes areas with views of Dartmoor and surrounding countryside. The race headquarters and start are at Granite Way Cafe, Klondyke Road, Okehampton, EX20 1EW. The event is scheduled for Sunday 8 March 2026.

The event offers two distance choices:

  • 10 miles one lap
  • 20 miles two laps

Participants must be at least 17 years old on the day. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Course support typically includes water stations and medical assistance. Finish area facilities commonly include toilets, a recovery area, a medical station, and a bag store. Results are shared by email and on Webscorer after the race.

There are two registration options: securing a charity place with a minimum fundraising pledge (£100 for 10 miles, £200 for 20 miles) or booking an individual entry. England Athletics members receive a discounted entry for UKA licensed events. Organisers provide route maps, race instructions, and a certificate of course accuracy. Charity runners who join Team Exeter City Community Trust are offered a technical running top, a fundraising pack, online training materials, post event hospitality, and course cheer points.
