Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles
The Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles is a running event that follows the Granite Way footpath and cycleway through Devon, offering views of Dartmoor and the surrounding countryside. The route begins at Granite Way Cafe on Klondyke Road in Okehampton, EX20 1EW, and is measured and mapped for both distances.
Participants can choose between two distances:
- 10 miles - one lap of the route
- 20 miles - two laps of the route
The event is scheduled for Sunday March 14th 2027. Runners must be at least 17 years old on the day of the event. All finishers receive a Granite Way finisher medal. Course support typically includes water stations and medical assistance, and finish line facilities commonly include toilets, a recovery area, a medical station, a water station, and a bag store.
Entry options include securing a charity place with a minimum fundraising pledge of £100 for the 10 mile and £200 for the 20 mile (excluding gift aid), or booking an individual place. England Athletics members benefit from discounted race entry for UKA licensed events. The event is presented as a way for runners to test marathon or half marathon training progress over measured 10 mile and 20 mile distances.
