Event overview
The Granite Way 10 and 20 Miles is a running event along the Granite Way footpath and cycleway in Devon. The route passes through countryside with views of Dartmoor and is described as traffic-free. Organisers offer two distance options and publish route maps and a certificate of course accuracy. Results are shared via Webscorer after the race. The event takes place on Sunday 8 March 2026 and the race headquarters and start location are at Granite Way Cafe, Klondyke Road, Okehampton, EX20 1EW. All finishers receive a Granite Way medal. Participants must be at least 17 years old on race day.
Entry, support and facilities
There are two entry options: booking an individual place or securing a charity place with a minimum fundraising pledge of £100 for the 10 mile and £200 for the 20 mile (excluding gift aid). England Athletics members receive discounted entry to UKA licensed events. Support on course typically includes water stations and medical assistance. Finish-area facilities commonly provided are toilets, a water station, a recovery area, a medical station and a bag store.
