Granite Mountain Grind 50K
The Granite Mountain Grind is a 50K trail ultramarathon held in Prescott, Arizona on September 26, 2026. The course runs through granite terrain with rocky climbs, fast descents, long stretches of singletrack, towering boulders, and juniper-studded landscapes. The event is presented as a technical footing race that emphasizes natural trail features.
The course is fully supported. There are three fully stocked aid stations and two additional in-between water stations. The route is well-marked and on-course safety teams are present during the race. Every participant receives a finisher medal. Awards are given to first, second, and third place finishers in both male and female categories.
The event is a sanctioned ultramarathon and is described as the only sanctioned ultra race in this part of Prescott. Entry is limited to 100 runners for the 2026 edition. The published entry fee is 85 USD. The race is organized by Dirty Goat Adventures, an organization that emphasizes well-marked courses, fully supplied aid stations, and intentional race design.
