Whiskey Basin Trail Runs : Prescott, Arizona
The Whiskey Basin Trail Runs are a set of trail races held around Prescott, Arizona on sections of the Prescott Circle Trail. Multiple distances share Watson Lake Park as the finish location, where the Granite Dells rock formations frame the finish view.
The event offers a range of courses that traverse desert trails, pines and juniper, granite rock, gravel paths, rocky scrambles, and winding single track. The half marathon and 10K follow trails through the Granite Dells and connect to the Peavine and Storm Trails. Courses are marked with ribbons and signs; runners are advised to carry a course map and follow the marked route.

- 60K point to point section of Prescott Circle Trail.
- 33K point to point section of Prescott Circle Trail.
- Half-Marathon trails around Granite Dells and Peavine Trail.
- 10K single track and granite scrambles around Watson Lake.
Support and logistics include aid stations stocked with water, ice, electrolyte drink, snacks, and fruit; gels are not provided. The event is cupless so runners must bring a reusable cup or obtain one on site. Drop bag, crew, and pacer rules vary by distance; pacers are permitted only for the longest distance. Medical personnel are on site and can be dispatched to aid stations. Additional event services include chip timing, live split tracking, camping at Watson Lake Park with a limited number of sites, parking managed at the park, and awards for top finishers.
