About the race
The Whiskey Basin Trail Runs are a set of trail races held in Prescott, Arizona, centered on Watson Lake Park and sections of the Prescott Circle Trail that circle the city. Distances offered include:

- 60K
- 33K
- Half-Marathon
- 10K
Courses run on a mix of terrain: gravel paths, single track, granite rock, rocky scrambles, and forested sections with pines and juniper. All distances finish at Watson Lake with views of the Granite Dells. The Prescott Circle Trail is marked with permanent logos plus race-specific orange ribbons and colored signs; wrong-way trails use blue and white checkerboard flagging.
Aid stations are placed regularly on each course (typical spacing varies by distance) and provide water, ice, an electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. The event operates as a cupless race; runners should plan to use a reusable cup. Gels are not stocked at aid stations. Drop bag locations and rules vary by distance, with designated drop points for the longest distance and a drop bag area at the start/finish for shorter races.
Crew and pacer policies differ by race distance; pacers are permitted only for the longest distance starting at a specified aid station. Medical personnel are stationed at the start/finish and can be dispatched to aid stations. Parking and camping are available at Watson Lake Park and nearby campgrounds.
