OhioHealth Grandview Yard Half & Quarter Marathon
The OhioHealth Grandview Yard event offers three road race distances centered at Ray E. DeGraw Park in Grandview Yard. The course tours Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington and The Ohio State University. The Purple Heart 5K benefits the Upper Arlington Foundation.
Distances:
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- 6.55 miles Quarter Marathon
- 3.1 miles Purple Heart 5K
The course is open and fully supported for 3 hours and 45 minutes, equivalent to a pace of 17 minutes, 10 seconds per mile. Participants who are not on pace when they reach 8.9 miles will be re-routed to an approximately 11-mile course; re-routed participants still receive an official finisher's medal.
Included for participants are an event short sleeve shirt, official race bib, official finisher's medal and free photos provided by OhioHealth. Post-race offerings at the Byers Xtra Mile Finish Line Party include live music and a selection of food and beverages provided by partners. Diamond Cellar offers free medal engraving after the race at its Sawmill Road location in Dublin, Ohio.
