Event
The OhioHealth Grandview Yard Half & Quarter Marathon is scheduled for August 23, 2026, in Grandview Yard, Grandview Heights, Ohio (850 First Ave.). The event offers three distances:
- 13.1 miles - Half Marathon
- 6.55 miles - Quarter Marathon
- 3.1 miles - Purple Heart 5K
The courses start and finish at Ray E. DeGraw Park and pass through Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington and The Ohio State University. The event benefits the Upper Arlington Foundation.
Logistics and services
Participants receive an event short sleeve shirt, official finisher's medal and official race bib. Free race photos are provided by OhioHealth. Post-race offerings include the Byers Xtra Mile Finish Line Party and a Diamond Cellar VIP Experience option. Diamond Cellar offers free medal engraving for finishers at its Sawmill Road location after the race.
The half marathon course is open and fully supported for 3 hours, 45 minutes (a pace of 17:10 per mile). Runners not on pace at 8.9 miles may be re-routed to an 11-mile course; re-routed participants still receive an official finisher's medal. M3S Sports has a no refund policy; bib transfers are allowed for a fee. Strollers are allowed; pets are not. Service animals trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
