Event overview
The OhioHealth Grandview Yard Half & Quarter Marathon is a multi-distance road race hosted in Grandview Yard, Grandview Heights, Ohio. The event includes three distances:
- 13.1 miles
- 6.55 miles
- 3.1 miles
Proceeds from the Purple Heart 5K benefit the Upper Arlington Foundation. The race starts and finishes at Ray E. DeGraw Park in Grandview Yard. The course tours Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington and The Ohio State University.
Course, services and policies
The half marathon course is open and supported for 3 hours, 45 minutes; participants not on pace to finish within that time at 8.9 miles will be re-routed to an 11-mile course. Any re-routed participant will receive an official finisher's medal. Event entries include an event short sleeve shirt, official finisher's medal, official race bib and free photos. Post-race offerings and partners listed for the event include a finish line party, food and beverage items and a Diamond Cellar VIP Experience option available for a fee.
Additional logistical notes: packet pick up details are provided by the organizer, bib transfers are allowed for a fee, strollers are permitted, pets are not allowed and service animals trained to assist a person with a disability are welcome.
