About the race
The 7th Annual Grand River Color Tour Triathlon takes place on 10/02/2027 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, with event activities centered near Mill Pointe Park and 114 Mill St.
The multi-sport event consists of a kayak leg, a cycling leg, and a run leg. Distances for the course are presented as follows:
- 2 km kayak paddle
- 15 mile bike
- 5 km run
The running leg includes a color powder element on its final section so that runners finish covered in colored powder. There is a 5K Only option that begins at Mill Pointe Park and finishes alongside the triathlon field.
Registration for the triathlon entry includes all three race legs but does not include equipment. A kayak rental option is available for an additional fee of $10 by selecting the Kayak Rental event. Team relay participation is offered with each team made up of three participants; each team member must register separately and each person completes a full leg of the race (kayak, cycle, run). Entry fees vary by event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
