Event Overview
The Grand Rapids Trail Run is a trail running and hiking event. It features multiple distances: a 5K, a 9K, and an 18K. There is also a separate 9K RUCK event. The run takes place at Robinette's Apple Haus & Winery in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Course Details
The course uses the Robinette's Nature Trail, which consists of dirt and rooty single-track trails. The route is hilly, with the 9K loop featuring approximately 500 feet of elevation gain. The event is a "no cup" race, meaning participants must bring their own water-carrying system. Historic average temperatures for the date range from 63 to 83 degrees Fahrenheit.
Participant Information
All participants, regardless of distance, receive a finisher's medal and a tri-blend event t-shirt. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in all distances. An additional last place trophy is awarded for the 18K distance. Finishers of the 9K RUCK event receive a special patch. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
