Grainger County Runs for H.O.P.E 2nd Annual 5k Run/Walk Glow Run
The event is a second annual community 5k run and walk with a glow theme, scheduled for October 16, 2026 in Bean Station, Tennessee at 785 Main St. It supports Grainger County Cancer Connect and directs proceeds to benefit people in Grainger County who are battling a cancer diagnosis.
Organizers report more than 220 registered walkers and runners at the previous edition and aim to increase participation. The event is open to all ages and to runners and walkers. A kid's mile is included this year to encourage youth participation.
The race distance is listed as 5k (3.16 miles) and the event is a timed race managed by Raceday Events. The description notes that cancer affects all age groups and that local incidence has been rising in recent years, which frames the community support focus of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
