35th Annual Grafton Gazebo Road Race
The Grafton Gazebo Road Race returns to Grafton, Massachusetts, for its 35th year. This community event takes place on a single day and proceeds regardless of whether there is rain or sunshine. The primary event is a 5K running race. Due to the scale and nature of the competition, the organizers cannot accommodate walkers or strollers on the course.
The race starts in front of Grafton TV at 26 Providence Road and concludes in the parking lot of the Municipal Center. Because the finish line is located at the center, participants are requested to park at the nearby Grafton High School at 24 Providence Road. The event includes a competitive element with awards presented to the top three finishers across ten different age categories.
Registration follows a tiered pricing structure with an early bird discount available for those who sign up before April 1. Participants who register by this date are also guaranteed an event t-shirt. Registration fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable, with an exception only for documented medical illnesses. Bib pick-up is available over four days at the Municipal Center Recreation Office and Grafton TV leading up to the race. Day-of registration depends on the availability of remaining spots. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
