Communities In Schools GraduRUN 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The 29th annual GraduRUN event takes place in Ringgold, Georgia, organized by Communities In Schools of Catoosa County. The race serves as a fundraiser where all proceeds support local students within the Catoosa County Public Schools System. This event is a Chip Timed Race managed in coordination with the Chattanooga Track Club and is recognized as a Points Race for Runner of the Year.
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
The course is relatively flat and carries certification number GA18008WC. The route begins near the outskirts of Downtown Ringgold at Builtwell Bank. Runners and walkers pass by local creeks, greenspaces, and the heart of the downtown area. The path continues past the Catoosa County Board of Education and Little General Park before finishing on Robin Road.
Registration options include individual and team categories for both the run and the walk. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed short-sleeve t-shirts, while limited shirt availability is expected for late registrants. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers across various age groups, ranging from 15 and under to 70 and over.
