Event Details
The Goose Creek Classic is a multi-race event featuring a 5K and 10K run, a 2.5K walk, and a Kids-K for children under 10. It takes place in Odin, Illinois, at City Park. The event is presented by The Odin Renewal & Development Committee.
Course and Registration
The course is a loop road. Registration opens at 7 AM on the event day, with race start times at 8 AM for the main events and 9 AM for the Kids-K. Pre-registration and race-day fees vary by distance, and a shirt-only option is available for $10. The Kids-K is free, though a shirt is not included. Registration forms can be found online or at Odin City Hall.
Awards and Recognition
Awards are presented at 9:15 AM. Trophies are given to the overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K. Medallions are awarded to the top three finishers in each age division. The 5K has multiple age divisions for men and women. There is also a cash prize for setting a new 5K course record. The event features USATF-certified timing and official results.
