Goliath's 50 - Marble Falls, TX
Goliath's 50 is a trail running event at Shaffer Bend Recreation Area in Marble Falls, Texas, held in February 2027. The event offers multiple distances on trails made of dirt, sand and rock, running on named loops called Equine, Lakeview, Turkey and Homestead. The course shows about 590 ft of elevation gain per 10 mile loop and consists of rolling hills. Historic average temperatures for the event period range from 45 to 63 degrees.

- 50M and 10M Ruck
The event is a no cup race; participants must carry a water carrying system with a minimum capacity of 16 ounces except for the 5K and 10K. Ruck requirements specify 20 lb for participants 150 lb or less and 30 lb for participants over 150 lb. Headlamps are required for night running on the 50K and 50M. Aid stations include a main station at the start/finish and intermediate stations on the loops with hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice and ice. No drop bags will be shipped because of the short loop size. Parking is limited and is along the road near the start/finish. All finishers receive a finisher medal and top male and female finishers receive trophies. The event is part of the Texas Legends Series.
