Goliathon obstacle course run in Mullica Hill, NJ
Goliathon is a non-profit, ninja-warrior style obstacle course run held at the Gloucester County Fairgrounds in Mullica Hill, NJ. The course is approximately 4 miles long and includes 12 tiered obstacles. Obstacles are offered at three tiers: G1 (easy), G2 (difficult), and G3 (extreme). Successfully completing all G3 obstacles earns free entry into a future event.
The event uses a points system for scoring: a completed G3 obstacle earns 5 points, G2 earns 3 points, and G1 earns 1 point. Only one attempt is allowed per obstacle, and obstacles only count toward a participant score if completed within four hours from leaving the starting corral. If the four-hour mark is reached, participants may continue to finish and receive bands but will not accrue additional points. One to two water stations and first aid stations are available on the course.
Age and team rules are specified: participants must be at least 10 years old, and those ages 10 to 14 must be accompanied by a registered adult for the entire course. Teams can be created at registration and may include as few as two participants; individual registrants cannot form or join teams later. Teams with a minimum of three females and three males are automatically entered into the team competition, with final team scores calculated from the top three females and top three males on each team. Prizes are awarded to members of the top three teams.
Event dates and pricing are listed for upcoming editions, with adult fees ranging from $77 to $127 depending on registration timing and kid fees generally between $65 and $75. On event day parking is available on site for $10 per vehicle cash, and spectators follow a check-in process with a $15 fee. Proceeds support projects that bring clean water to communities in need.
