Chip timing is used for results, and age group rankings and awards are posted; awards can be picked up after official results are posted or mailed.
A Half Marathon Challenge pairs the 5K and the 10 Mile, producing separate 5K and 10 Mile results plus a combined half marathon time and a ranking among challenge participants.
The event partners with the M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital for fundraising. Funds raised support cardiovascular research and care for pediatric patients in Minnesota and beyond. As of the latest figures, $5,640.40 has been raised toward a $30,000 goal. The event is produced by the MN Run Series. All runners finish on the 50 yard line.
