Golden Pheasant Triathlon
The Golden Pheasant Triathlon is a single-distance kayak, bike, run held in Shelby Park and Bottoms on September 27, 2026. The course routes participants on the Cumberland River by kayak, continues with a bike segment through Shelby Bottoms, and finishes with a run back through the park.
The event is presented as a noncompetitive community race within the 2026 Shelby Race Series. Participation welcomes a broad range of park users, and costumes are encouraged.
