Golden Pheasant Triathlon
The Golden Pheasant Triathlon is a single distance kayak, bike, run event held in Shelby Park and Bottoms on September 27, 2026. The course includes a kayak segment on the Cumberland River, a bike segment through Shelby Bottoms, and a run back through the park.
The event celebrates the search for the mysterious bird and is organized as a noncompetitive community event. Organizers encourage costumes and a playful atmosphere during the race.
