G.O.A.T.z Trail Runs : Glenn Cunningham Lake, Omaha
The G.O.A.T.z Trail Runs take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Glenn Cunningham Lake (Marina, 8965 State St, Omaha, NE 68122). All races start on the grass west of the parking lot by the marina at Entrance 1. The course surface is almost entirely trail and grass.
Distances and lap structure:
- 50 miles 5 laps
- 50 kilometers 3 laps
- 21 miles 2 laps
- 10.5 miles 1 lap
- 5 miles 1 shortened lap
There are two fully stocked, buffet style aid stations: one at the Start/Finish area and one near the halfway point of each loop. Runners must carry a hydration device. Drop bags and personal items may be left near the main aid station. Available fluids include water, electrolyte drink, and several soft drinks. Aid station food includes fruit, salty snacks, sweet snacks, and real food.
Proceeds support the GOATz fund for trail maintenance, community projects, and financial support for cross country teams and other causes the GOATz support. Registration is open for the 2026 event, with a total field cap of 500 runners. Current 2026 fees are listed for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
