The Goatfell Race is a single-day hill race held at Ormidale Pavilion in Brodick on the Isle of Arran. The course is 15.5 km with 870 m of ascent. It follows the main road north to Brodick Castle drive, then climbs to the summit of Goat Fell via the standard tourist path and returns the same route to the finish at Ormidale Pavilion.
Competitors must be 18 or older on the day of the race. Entry is limited to 200 places via online entries; on-the-day entries may be allowed at the race organiser’s discretion in the event of known late cancellations or if the limit has not been reached. The published entry fee is £16.
