Go The Distance - Box End Park

Go The Distance is a community colour run at Box End Park organised by Fun 4 Young People. The event combines timed-free participation with colour stations where participants are showered with coloured powder as they move along the route. The atmosphere is described as relaxed and family friendly, with music and encouragement around the course.

Distances offered include:

• 1–2 km Family Loop - for families and younger children
• 2 km Child Run - ages 8 to 14
• 5 km Colour Run - ages 11 and over

The event is open to children, families, friends and runners of all abilities. Proceeds from ticket sales and any individual sponsorship raised by participants are directed to Fun 4 Young People to support activities for children and young people.

Practical notes and recommendations from the organiser include wearing white to make colours stand out, choosing clothes and trainers that can get colourful, bringing a change of clothes or protection for car seats, and bringing water.
