Go Girl Run 5K is a race for women and girls held on Labor Day, Monday September 7, 2026 at Peak Performance, The Running Store, 519 N 78th St, Omaha. The run takes place on the Keystone Trail.
The event's mission is to encourage and motivate women and girls to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle through running. The organizer notes that girls who stay active are more likely to develop positive coping skills, increased self-worth, and increased confidence.
Race details include a kids run that goes first, finishers medals for all participants who complete their race, and age group awards. A pancake meal is included for participants in the entry price; additional meal tickets for family and friends are available on the day of the race for $7 each. Packet pickup and late registration are held at Peak Performance, 519 N 78th St, with pickup on the Sunday before the race and on race morning.
Awards are given three deep in five-year age increments beginning with 19 and under up to 70 and over. First place overall and first place Masters, age 40 and over, are awarded.
