Glowing With Hope 5K & 1M Fun Run (5th Annual) : Durant, OK
The event is the fifth annual Glowing With Hope run held in Durant, Oklahoma at 2746 Big Lots Blvd. It supports Feeding Hope, a local nonprofit formerly known as Families Feeding Families. The organization describes its mission as enhancing community life by providing basic necessities, nourishment, and emotional encouragement with compassion.
The program includes both a timed 5K and a 1-mile fun run. Participants may register as in-person runners, virtual entrants, or purchase a T-shirt only. Registrations received by 09/11/2026 are guaranteed an event T-shirt. Available shirt sizes range from youth sizes through XXXL; XXL and XXXL carry an additional $2 charge. Packet pickup takes place at the Choctaw Community Center on race day. Race day registration is available onsite but does not guarantee a shirt.
Awards are given for overall male and female finishers and across multiple age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 plus. Course maps exist for the 5K and the 1-mile route, and race results are posted after the event through the event timing provider and the event registration page.
