Glowing With Hope 5K & 1M Fun Run (5th Annual)
Glowing With Hope is the fifth annual running event held at 2746 Big Lots Blvd, Durant, OK 74701. The race supports Feeding Hope (previously known as Families Feeding Families). The organization's mission is: "Enhance the lives of those in the community by offering diverse support such as providing fundamental necessities, offering nourishment and emotional encouragement while serving with compassion." The event was created to assist fundraising for the Families Feeding Hope Foundation, a non-profit that provides meals to anyone in need.
The event offers in-person running options and virtual participation. Registrations received by 09/11/2026 are guaranteed an event T-shirt; shirts ordered after that date are available on a first come, first serve basis. Available shirt sizes include youth and adult sizes; XXL and XXXL carry an additional $2 charge. Packet pickup begins on race day at the Choctaw Community Center and race day registration is available onsite with no shirt guarantee. Results will be posted on the registration page and on the listed timing provider's results tab for 2026.
Awards are given overall for male and female finishers and by multiple age groups, starting at 1-14 and progressing through 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
