Winter Run Through the Preserve
Evergreen Multisport organizes the inaugural Winter Run Through the Preserve on December 12, 2026, at Harper's Preserve in Conroe, Texas. The event is a community race with options for adults and children and includes on-site support and post-race refreshments.
Events include:
- 5K Timed run or walk
- Kids 1K Fun Run for young participants
The 5K course is nearly fully paved with a short section on small pea gravel, is mostly flat, and passes park scenery including a lake and areas where horses may be visible. Course features include clearly marked turns, volunteer course marshals, at least one water station, and medical support. A detailed course map will be posted before race day.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race and race day packet pickup will also be available; the pickup location will be announced closer to the event. Race entries include a race bib, safety pins, event shirt when registration is completed before November 20, 2026, and race information. Every participant receives a custom finisher medal at the finish line. The 5K will be timed using RaceSplitter and awards will be given to top overall finishers and selected age groups.
