Winter Run Through the Preserve
The Winter Run Through the Preserve is the inaugural community race hosted by Evergreen Multisport on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Harper's Preserve in Conroe, Texas. The event includes a timed 5K run or walk and a Kids 1K Fun Run. All participants may run, jog, or walk the course.
Event logistics include packet pickup on the Friday before the race and on race morning, with the Friday pickup location to be announced. Each race packet contains a race bib, safety pins, an event shirt, and race information. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before November 20, 2026; additional shirts may be available for later registrants but are not guaranteed.
The 5K course is nearly fully paved with a short section of small pea gravel, mostly flat, and features park scenery including a lake and some horses. The course will have clearly marked turns, volunteer course marshals, a water station, medical support, and finish line refreshments. Dogs and other pets are not allowed on the start line or the course. Timing for the 5K will be provided by RaceSplitter. Awards will be presented to top overall male and female finishers and to top finishers in select age groups. Every participant receives a finisher medal. The event will be held rain or shine when conditions are safe. Free parking will be available with finalized parking information published before race day.
