The event is a social trail run organised by Bird Outdoors in partnership with Au Calme Run Club. It takes place from Glossop Market Hall, with the meeting point at the venue's side entrance on Market Street, Glossop SK13 8AP.
The planned route covers 13 km on hilly trails. Two pace groups will run: an average-pace group (around 7 min/km) and a run/walk group. Participants are encouraged to hike sections when needed; organisers state that no one will be left behind. Lift shares are encouraged and can be arranged among attendees. Dogs are welcome.
Donation tickets are available; donations go directly to a Community Fund and a Community Fund ticket does not require a separate general access ticket. The event is listed as in person and the organiser’s refund policy states no refunds.
