Global Running Day - Mile Trials

On 06/03/2026 DC Road Runners will hold annual mile time trials in honor of Global Running Day at 1301 N Stafford St, Arlington, VA 22201. The event is a free community mile event. Everyone is welcome, including all ages and paces.

The program consists of several dedicated mile heats with pace guidance offered for a range of speeds, from 10:00 per mile and slower up to paces under 5:00 per mile. Members of DC Road Runners may serve as pacers; pacers are permitted to run in the heats they lead.

Registration is free and open from 05/27/2026 until 06/03/2026. Organizers note a brief warm-up will take place before the heats. Runners are advised to allow time to find parking and to add extra warm-up time as desired. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
