Glenrothes Road Running Festival
The Glenrothes Road Running Festival takes place on 14 June 2026 at the Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre in Glenrothes. The event is organised by the Fife Olympiad SCIO Committee in conjunction with the Fife Sports and Leisure Trust. Total places are listed as 600.
Races on the day cover several distances and age groups:
- 10k Road Race - open to anyone aged over 15 on race day.
- 4k Road Race - aimed at school-age children.
- 2k Fun Run - family-friendly run, walk or jog.
- 200m Junior Jog - for under-fives on the sports centre running track.
Entry details for the 10k show fees listed from £22 (early rate) rising to £25, with a £2 discount for SA members; a limited number of higher-priced on-the-day entries may be available. The 4k, 2k and 200m races have separate small entry fees and are available via the sports centre reception and on the day. Runners in the non-binary category are not eligible for male or female prizes and categories with fewer than three entrants will not receive prizes.
