Event overview
Glenrothes Road Running Festival will take place on 14 June 2026 at the Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre in Glenrothes. The event is organised by the Fife Olympiad SCIO Committee in conjunction with the Fife Sports and Leisure Trust. The event has a total of 600 places and the status is listed as open.
Races and entry information
The event includes the following races:
- 10k - open to anyone aged over 15 on the day.
- 4k - aimed primarily at school-age children.
- 2k - fun run distance.
- 200m - junior jog for under-fives on the sports centre running track.
Entry details include early bird pricing and standard fees for the 10k: early entry is priced at £22 until 1 April 2026, rising to £25 thereafter. SA members receive a £2 discount. Online entries close on 12 June 2026. A limited number of entries will be available for purchase on the day at a higher price on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry fees for shorter races are: 4k £5, 2k £2, 200m £1. Runners entered in the non-binary category are not eligible for prizes in the male or female categories, and no prizes will be awarded for any category with fewer than three entrants.
