Glendora Memorial Day 5K
The Glendora Memorial Day 5K is an annual running event taking place in downtown Glendora, California. The race is hosted by Phoenix Hope International, with half of all proceeds directly benefiting the Glendora Unified School District and local schools. The event features multiple distance options for different age groups and categories:
- 5K Run
- Kids 1K Run (for ages 11 and under)
- 5K Run - Law Enforcement Division
All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt as part of their registration. However, those who register on or after Sunday, May 24, will receive their shirts a few days after the race rather than at the event. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female winners, as well as to winners in specific age groups.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for the Saturday and Sunday prior to the race at Village Fitness, located on North Glendora Avenue. The race course centers around the intersection of Glendora Avenue and West Meda Street.
