Glen Acres 5k 2026
The Glen Acres 5K and 1K Fun Run is an annual community athletic event held in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Organized by the Glen Acres Elementary Running Club and PTO, this event has been held for over a decade. The course leads participants through the Glen Acres community, starting and finishing at 1150 Delancey Place.
Participants have two distances to choose from:
- 5 km Fun Run
- 1 km Fun Run
The 5K is open to all students from Glen Acres Elementary along with their family and friends across all grade levels. This is not a drop-off event; adults must accompany any child participating on the course, and parents must register alongside their children. The 5K event provides official timing for all runners.
Awards are presented specifically to participants in grades K through 5. A total of 14 medals are distributed, including first-place awards for both male and female runners in the overall K-5 category, as well as first-place male and female medals for each individual grade from Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
